Rachel & David are married!!

I have known Rachel for almost two years now, and so I was so excited when she asked me to photograph her elopement to her longtime boyfriend, David. They are such a great couple together and it was my honor to capture their special day through photos.

Rachel and David eloped at the Durham County Courthouse towards the end of July. This was the first time I had been to a courthouse ceremony, let alone photograph one, but it was sweet! The process was pretty quick, but everyone still got a little emotional!

Rachel & David's friends came along as witnesses and to sign the marriage license. I loved the intimacy of having just the two of them and two close friends by their sides as they officially tied the knot. It was refreshing seeing a couple get married without the stress of a tight timeline that a lot of wedding days have.

After the ceremony, we took a few photos in the Courthouse because it was 95 degrees outside and the least amount of time that we had to spend outside, the better. After taking a few photos inside the courthouse as well as outside of the courthouse, we walked over to the American Tobacco Campus to capture a few more photos of Rachel and David as well as a few fun group shots.

Their friends brought along some champagne to celebrate, so of course I captured photos of the fun! I am so happy for Rachel & David and know that they will have a long, happy marriage together! Shared below are some of my favorite photos from Rachel & David's elopement at the Durham County Courthouse as well as elopement photos at the American Tobacco Campus.
