Being new to North Carolina, I have been SO looking forward to having ocean & mountain sessions! Andy & Sarah took advantage of a special I was running and booked a beach session with me on a beautiful Saturday night in July. They are from Cary as well, but we all made the trek to Kure Beach for a sunset beach session & I am so glad we did! We all used the session as an excuse to spend the day at the beach which was much needed 😊

Andy & Sarah had a "covid wedding" meaning that the pandemic messed up their wedding plans. Luckily they were still able to get married on Sarah's family's farm. However, they didn't have any formal engagement photos done, so they wanted to finally get some professional photos together. I am so glad they hired me because they were so fun to hang out with!! They also didn't end up having a first dance on their wedding day, so I played the song that they had planned on using and they danced to the song on the beach while I snapped away. So many great photos came from that! 💖 I had planned to have them do that during the shoot anyway, but I had no idea that they weren't able to have their first dance, so it made it even more special!

It's so clear how much love these two have for each other! They were full of smiles & laughter their entire session, and I barely had to prompt or pose them to get great shots. They are naturally so comfortable together- it made my heart happy!! Shared below are some of my favorite shots from their session!!
