I held my DREAM mini sessions this spring, and I am pretty sure my entire life is complete.

Back in March, I photographed Peach Bloom Mini Sessions at Millstone Creek Orchards in Ramseur, North Carolina. They were great to work with and offered such a well organized experience for both photographers and their guests. When I saw a new post on their Facebook that they were offering "Baby Animal Photography Timeslots", I jumped right on. It was a decent fee to pay for a timeslot, and I booked it only 9 days before the session date so I wasn't even sure if I'd book anybody, but I couldn't resist the opportunity to photograph baby animals on a gorgeous property! I told myself that worst case scenario, I would just bring my camera along and hangout with the animals for an hour and capture my own photos!

Luckily, I was able to fill both time slots with two great families!! We all had so much fun meeting the baby animals and capturing some incredible photos with them!! There was a sweet baby calf named Mary-Belle who was only 2 months old. There was also the spunkiest yet sleepiest baby goat named Ruby. She fell asleep in one of my client's laps in the middle of the session and had no desire to get back up. Being that cute is a tough job!!

I had SUCH a blast with these sessions, and will gladly do them every year if it is offered!! I am a huge animal lover, so the excuse to hangout with a baby cow and baby goat was obviously a no brainer! I was the first photographer that they had do this, and this was their first year doing it, but I think everything went really smoothly. The animals were great and their handlers were the absolute sweetest.
