Aya & Deion are married!! They had a Tuesday backyard wedding in early August, and everything about their day was so special!!
Their wedding day was so intimate, with having around 15 guests total at their wedding. They didn't have a specific wedding party, but they made sure to include their closest friends and family members in their day by having everyone get dressed up and help them celebrate.
Aya & Deion rented an Airbnb near Downtown Durham for their wedding. The fenced in backyard with trees and greenery made for the perfect space for an intimate ceremony and dinner. The attention to detail in all of their decor was perfect. While the wedding was on a hot summer day, the decor gave us fall vibes with oranges & yellow throughout. The place settings at the table was absolutely gorgeous. The ceremony space & florals were just beautiful.
The energy throughout their day was so great. Everybody was happy to be celebrating the bride & groom, and I could feel the love and support in the air from all of Aya & Deion's friends and family members that were in attendance. After the ceremony, the DJ kicked off the evening with a great playlist, and everybody GOT. DOWN. It was so fun watching everybody having a blast together, dancing the evening away! I especially loved watching Aya with her mom out on the dance floor. For the couples first dance, their friends and family surrounded them with sparklers. I loved this twist to a first dance!!
