M + M's wedding at Catch the Fire Church in Durham on December 30th was a beautiful and emotional celebration of love. It was such a special way to end the year for both M + M and for me as well, as I finished off my first full time year as a wedding photographer. I can't think of any better way to have closed out 2022! Despite only having a few months to plan, this sweet couple pulled off a stunning and memorable wedding day.
One of the highlights of the day was when Mallory's mom gave her a special gift from her dad, who had passed away in the early 2000s. He had left a coin and a handwritten letter for Mallory to open on her wedding day, and it was incredibly moving to witness such a special moment.
The ceremony was especially powerful, with the singing of three worship songs setting the tone for a spiritual and meaningful celebration. Catch the Fire Church was the perfect location for the ceremony, with its beautiful setting and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Throughout the day, I had the pleasure of getting to know M + M's friends and family, who were all so kind and friendly. It was clear that these two are loved by many, and their joy was contagious.
M + M's bride and groom photos were also so fun! These two are so comfortable and in love, and it showed in every shot. I was honored to be a part of their beautiful wedding and wish them the absolute best in their marriage!
