I had the honor of photographing the Dominick's Family Photos and I was SO excited!! Alyssa is a very close friend of mine - we went to high school together and were each others maids of honors if our weddings. Now that I live in North Carolina though, I don't see her as much as I wish I could, so when I found out that she would be home in Munising the same weekend as me in May, I was so excited!!

Alyssa was the first friend in our friend group to have a baby and we absolutely adore her. Kinsley was born in October of 2021 and is just the sweetest girl!! She is such a happy baby!! Alyssa sends me photos of her most days, but seeing her in person as a 7 month old baby felt so surreal! I met Kinsley when she was a newborn, but I hadn't seen her since. She grew so much in that short amount of time!!

Back in 2018, I photographed Alyssa and Andrew's proposal at Miners Beach in our hometown of Munising, so we decided to do the family photos there as well because it is such a special spot!! Miners Beach is on Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and it is absolutely gorgeous. The weekend leading up to the photo session was windy, but when we finally did the shoot, it was the perfect morning. We had almost no wind and the bugs even left us alone which is surprising on that beach!!

Kinsley did SO good! She easily made the list of top happy babies that I have photographed!! I loved seeing her little smile throughout the session!! We also captured a few shots of Alyssa and Andrew alone together as well. After couples have kiddos, they tend to only take family portraits, so I always like to offer photos for the parents alone if they'd like.
