Katie and Nick are such a sweet couple!! It took SO many reschedules before we were finally able to meet for their engagement session. We had been planning their engagement session since mid-December but hadn't been able to actually take them until early February. Every day we had planned ended up being rainy, snowy, or both. We finally had a perfect February afternoon for their photos though, and I am so happy we were able to have a beautiful day for them!!

We met in Downtown Cary on a Saturday afternoon. Katie and Nick were so fun to walk around downtown with and find fun spots to take their photos. We were able to get some shots under the Cary Theater, in front of so many pretty buildings and churches, and by beautiful flowers that we found. Downtown shoots can be so fun because you never know what you will find.

They brought their sweet doggo, Honey, to their shoot for a few shots! I loved her "Dog of Honor" bandana that she was wearing. She was highly motivated by treats and did very well with her photos. 😍

Katie and Nick are getting married on Memorial Day weekend in Winston-Salem. I am so excited for them!! Shared below are some of my favorite photos from their February engagement session in Downtown Cary.
