Abby & Michael had the sweetest engagement session in Downtown Raleigh!! These two are one of my Fall of 2023 wedding couples, and so I was extra excited to meet them for their engagement session. It's always such a joy to finally meet the couples that I will be photographing on their wedding day.

We began their session at the Raleigh Union Station, a favorite spot of mine to take downtown photos. We even went inside Union Station for a few photos with the Raleigh sign, which was so fun! We took photos upstairs at Union Station and then made our way to the neon "Choose Love" sign. 

Next, we made our way across the road to the courtyard in front of the Dillon, a residential, retail, and office building located in the Warehouse District of Downtown Raleigh. 

After that, we went up to Boylan Bridge to capture iconic photos showcasing the Raleigh Skyline. The lighting was gorgeous on the bridge, so I took a few extra photos there while we had the best light! 

We finished at Nash Square with a quick outfit change, more photos, and then champagne! Of course we captured photos of Abby and Michael popping the champagne and then enjoying a couple of glasses of bubbly.

Henry and I had such a blast at Abby and Michael's engagement session. They are such a sweet couple, and I know that they are going to have the most beautiful wedding day at the Evermore next fall.
