Erin & Aleks are the sweetest couple, and I am so honored that they chose me as their wedding photographer. When I first spoke with Erin & Aleks on the phone for their wedding consult, we chatted for a good 20 minutes about the housing market and life in Raleigh before actually getting down to the wedding photography talk. I instantly felt like I was chatting with old friends! I fell in love with their love story and immediately knew that I wanted to capture their wedding. I am so glad that they felt the same way because they are truly so fun photograph and hang out with! Something that is important to me when it comes to photographing someone's wedding is that I truly build a bond with them and feel like more of a friend by the end of our time together, rather than having a typical vendor/client relationship. I look forward to my clients weddings so much and am always so excited to be there with them on their day.

Erin & Aleks have been together since high school, and have known each other since middle school! As someone who is married to her high school sweetheart, I absolutely love this! To make their story even more special, Aleks proposed to Erin on their 8th dating anniversary while on a trip to the Appalachain Mountains. That's not even the best part though - Erin & Aleks are getting married on their dating anniversary as well!! I adore the fact that they are doing that! I celebrate both my dating anniversary and my wedding anniversary, but having it on the same day would make that day 1 million times more special!!

I photographed Erin & Aleks engagement session on a Saturday morning back in June. We captured their photos all over Raleigh, where they are both from. We took photos at Moore Square, in front of their Middle School where they met, at Dorthea Dix Park, and at the Raleigh Rose Garden. Shared below are some of my favorite photos from Erin & Aleks summer engagement session in Raleigh, North Carolina.
