Karen and Onan are getting married this fall and I am SO excited to photograph their wedding!! I had the honor of photographing their engagement session in Downtown Raleigh in late April and we had such a great time together!!

Karen arrived in THE most gorgeous dress!! She look absolutely incredible! She had asked me before their engagement session if I thought that a formal dress would be too dressy for these photos, but I thought it would be perfect for Downtown Raleigh. I absolutely loved her outfit and was so glad she decided to go for it!! Karen and Onan make such a cute couple together!!

We started at the Boylan Bridge, where we captured some fun skyline shots with the city of Raleigh behind them. This is such a fun spot for photos - whether they be engagement photos, a regular couples session, branding photos, or even graduation photos! Next, we took photos at the Raleigh Union Station. This spot is one of my favorites! It's a hidden gem and I absolutely love it! We finished at Nash Square - a lush park right in the middle of the warehouse district in Downtown Raleigh. Karen and Onan changed into a more casual outfit (another gorgeous yet casual summer dress for Karen) and it fit the scene perfectly! I love the versatility that Downtown Raleigh offers for engagement photos.

Karen and Onan will be getting married at the Johnston County Country Club in September and I have the honor of photographing their special day. I absolutely cannot wait!! It will be a gorgeous day!
