Meredith & Donovan are engaged!!

I had SUCH a blast photographing Meredith and Donovan's engagement session in late March. They are getting married this fall and I can't wait to photograph their special day! They are the sweetest couple and we were cracking jokes and laughing the entire time we were together.

We took their engagement photos at their wedding venue, the Evermore in Apex, North Carolina. The Evermore is a newer wedding venue located in the heart of the triangle, situated on over 20 acres of lush green horse pastures. The space offers so many great amenities. There are gorgeous bride and groom preperation suites, a stunning backdrop of fields, horses, and a pond, an amazing outside space for both a ceremony and yard games, and a huge open reception space that blends classic charm with modern elegance. This venue easily just became my new favorite in the Raleigh area. I am so excited to see everything come together for Meredith and Donovan's wedding day. I can already tell that it is going to be a gorgeous day. The venue owners were on property and were so welcoming and kind. Their sweet puppy, Moose, also came to say hello!

Meredith and Donovan told me that they hadn't had professional photos taken together before, but they absolutely killed it. They were so relaxed and easy going, it was so easy to photograph the love between the two of them without having to give many prompts.

We had absolutely gorgeous weather for our photo session - which was a blessing, because the rest of the week as well of most of that day leading up to the session was not very pretty at all. Somehow we had a perfect pocket of wonderful weather, followed by rain shortly after again. We even got a gorgeous sunset as we were finishing up the engagement session!!
