I had the great opportunity to photograph Heather and her 3 handsome sons in mid-November. They moved to Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina in the summer from the St. Pete area in Florida. The morning of our session, it was a brisk 38 degrees at 8:30am. Being that this was one of their first cold weather outings here in North Carolina, they were definitely freezing! Especially Kaleb, the youngest boy. He did his part by staying with us through most of the pictures, but then he took off to the car to warm up - I don't blame him!!

The star of the show during their photo session was their beautiful dog, Chelsea Blue. She had a blast during the session because she got to run through a huge field with her tennis ball. 🤣 One of the boys told me that there wasn't as many areas with big fields for dogs in the St. Pete area, so Chelsea Blue must have been so happy here! She paused her tennis ball chasing to join everyone for family photos when we needed her and she did so good!! She even had on a pink sweater to keep her warm. I love love love when families bring dogs to their family sessions!

We took their photos at Sugg Farm at Bass Lake in Holly Springs. We found a shaded area with a fence, greenery, fall colors, and a barn which made the space versatile. There was a running race going on through Sugg Farm though so we had to time the photos just right to make sure runners weren't photo bombing the shot.

Shared below are some of my favorite photos from this fun family session at Sugg Farm in Holly Springs!
