I recently had the honor of photographing a sweet mother/daughter session at West Point on the Eno Park in Durham, North Carolina. This was the second time that I have had the privilege of photographing Tracey and Hazel, and I am so grateful to have been able to capture these special moments for them.

In the hours leading up to their session, the weather was originally gloomy and overcast. We almost decided to reschedule to a different day, but shortly before our session time, the clouds parted and the sun came out, creating the most beautiful light for our photos. We took advantage of this and captured photos all over the park, including on a porch that was decorated beautifully for the holidays. This made for some fun and festive photos, just in time for Christmas.

Hazel was a natural in front of the camera, and she did such a great job throughout the session. It's always so special to be able to photograph families over and over again, and watch the kids grow and change. I am so grateful to have been able to capture these special memories for Tracey and Hazel, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them.
