Ashton is graduated from NCSU with the Class of 2022!! Congrats Ashton! I had a great time photographing her cap and gown photos all over campus in mid April!

Ashton graduated with her Bachelor's in Psychology and will be pursuing a masters degree from Ball State University. She will be staying in the Raleigh area and will do clinicals here but work on her Masters through their online program. Ball State is based out of Indiana, so it would be quite a big change if she had to move there! I also graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology, so we had that in common!! Ashton chose NCSU because they partner with Meredith College in Raleigh for the Meredith Autism Program, and Ashton wanted to take classes through that program.

Ashton's mom joined us for her graduation photos. They brought matching NCSU Alumni shirts to take photos together in at the end of the session. I love that they both went to State and did photos like that!

Campus was SO busy the day of Ashton's photos. It's usually busy towards mid to the end of April as it's crunch time to get photos done to get them back in time before graduation, but that day was probably the busiest I had seen it thus far. We had to wait a good 10 minutes to take photos by the Belltower and then another 20 minutes at the Court of Carolina. We were able to capture some great photos though despite the waiting!
