Carter is graduating!! I had the honor of photographing Carter's graduation session from NC State University this spring. We were blessed with an 80 degree day - the hottest so far for a grad session for me! When I first arrived at the belltower where I met Carter and his family, a NCSU employee offered to show us the inside of the belltower. This was pretty cool! I've had the opportunity to see the inside and learn the history of the tower a few times before with last years grads and it's very interesting! We captured some unique photos inside of the belltower and then took the classic shots outside of the tower. We did the remainder of his shots at the Court of Carolina, another very popular grad photo spot on campus.

Carter and his family lived in Michigan at one point, so it was fun chatting about my homestate and reminiscing on how cold it is there. They knew that I am called a "Yooper" which is a term that I rarely hear spoken about here in North Carolina. A Yooper is someone who lives above the Mackinac Bridge in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Carter said that he forgot that part of Michigan exists - I would say most people think the same. 🤣 The UP is basically Canada anyways.

Carter is graduating this spring and then heading to Baltimore for a job. He will have yearly placements in all different spots around the country. I think that will be so exciting for him! Congrats Carter!
